||George opened “Giorgio’s Pizza” in 1982. His passion and commitment to this business and its customers was apparent from the start. George believed then, as we still believe now, great food starts with the best ingredients possible. Everything from our salad dressings to our pizzas are homemade. George is survived by his spouse Sofia, who has been carrying on the family tradition all these years.
Our pizza is known for being fresh, plenty of toppings and covered with loads of 100% real cheese! Our cheese selection process is demanding. We get in many samples that do not make it. We select only the best BLOCK cheese available. Why block cheese? Block cheese is aged and handled using the most traditional techniques. Also Block cheese is not gas flushed like pre-grated cheese, which leads to better flavor and more moisture. Our cheese is known for its distinct yellow crust on top with a creamy, buttery and gooey middle. As a consumer we know you expect the best. That is why we grate our cheese fresh daily from the most expensive block cheese around!
